The advantage to the hollow quill is the ability to handle extreme loads on the shaft\/impeller while the independent bearing isolates the loads away from the gearbox.<\/p>\n<p>Our X9\u00a0series is a versatile line of agitators which are custom built for each application.<\/p>\n<p>X10 gearboxes are highly efficient parallel shaft gear drives. The advantage to the hollow quill is the ability to handle extreme loads on the shaft\/impeller while the independent bearing isolates the loads away from the gearbox.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">The standard X8\u00a0configuration is similar to the Lightnin Series 70 and the Chemineer HT.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"font_8\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">X8\/X8A gearboxes can be configured as a hollow quill design with an independent bearing (similar to the Series 80 by Lightnin) or with a stub shaft or stub shaft configuration\u00a0like the Lightnin Series 70\/ Chemineer HT.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Both configurations are right angle drives which is ideal for low head room constraints<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Drywell design prevents leakage of lubrication oil<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Splash lubrication allows for cooler operations and fewer required oil changes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Available in standard models from speeds of 37.5 to 250 rpm and up to 500 HP<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">The X8\/X8A\u00a0gearboxes utilize hardened helical and spiral bevel gear sets.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">For easy maintenance, the gears are easily accessed through a large change gear cover.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\">All of our gearboxes include a view port .
