Input power and output flame signals are made through a rugged military style connector. Every flame has a unique profile \u2013 a digital fingerprint. The Digital Profile Detector constantly compares the real time flame image to the learned profile stored in its memory. The detector\u2019s microprocessor uses sophisticated algorithms to precisely determine the flame\u2019s on\/off condition, allowing for reliable discrimination in a multi-burner environment.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on customer needs, both the Super-Blue Digital Profile Detector (UV) and the Classic Digital Profile Detector (IR) are available. The Super-Blue features a super-blue silicon cell that is sensitive to radiation prevalent in gas flames and\/or oil flames. The Classic incorporates a lead sulfide cell for infrared detection and is best suited for coal and\/or oil flames.
