It has durable fiber optic cables\u00a0that transmit the spectral energy from the combustion process\u00a0to the electronics module. This allows for remote mounting\u00a0of the electronics outside of the engine enclosure, which\u00a0eliminates complicated and costly cooling systems common in\u00a0other flame sensors.<\/p>\n<p>The FlameHawk flame detector system works in low NOx\u00a0combustors, multiple fuel applications and with systems\u00a0incorporating steam injection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operational Principles<br \/>\n<\/strong>The fiber optic cables and optical probes offer easy\u00a0installation and maintainability.
